Leon first started his rugby career with Churwell Chiefs at the age of 6/7. From here on he developed his skills and week in week out he would walk away with his MOM award or Man of Steel often earning himself his hat trick. The amount of trophies we have for Leon is massive we eventually had nowhere to put them all. Grandma Gina has a cabinet full .As the years passed Leon became the first player from Churwell to receive a scholarship with Leeds Rhinos until the age of 16. Inbetween this he was chosen to represent the Leeds Service Area which was an honour, the young players at this time were the best for the surrounding areas.
